The program operates in an Agile / SAFe setup, with multidisciplinary Scrum teams composed of functional analysts, architects, developers, and UX designers.

2. Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to contribute to the continuous improvement of an existing IT solution within a structured Agile framework.

You will analyze stakeholder needs, translate them into detailed functional requirements, and support the delivery of new features in collaboration with Scrum teams. The solution is built on a modular and distributed architecture, leveraging REST services and integrations with external platforms.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed functional analyses and specifications in close collaboration with the Scrum team
• Translate stakeholder needs into structured functional requirements and support backlog refinement
• Contribute to the evolution of a modular, service-oriented architecture using REST-based integrations
• Ensure functional consistency, traceability, and quality across delivered features
• Support validation and functional alignment throughout implementation within an Agile / SAFe framework

4. Profile & Competencies

Must-Have

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in complex IT environments
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (SAFe experience is a strong plus)
• Hands-on expertise with BPMN, UML, and advanced SQL
• Proven experience in end-to-end IT product implementation projects
• Native-level French with professional working proficiency in Dutch and English

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in public-sector or eGovernment environments
• Background as developer-analyst or test analyst
• Experience with Jakarta-based technical environments
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and/or test automation
