Are you an experienced Risk & Compliance professional looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and evolving sector? Our client, a leading consultancy specializing in risk, compliance, and transformation programs within pensions and insurance, is looking for a Lead Risk & Compliance to build and expand their department.
Your Role
As a Lead Risk & Compliance, you will be responsible for developing and strengthening the Risk & Compliance department, playing a critical role in ongoing and future transformation projects. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and proactive risk management across multiple programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Risk & Compliance department, from strategy to execution
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and expand professional networks
- Oversee complex transformation programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
- Provide strategic guidance to enhance governance and compliance frameworks
- Drive sustainable solutions and contribute to the organization's long-term growth
Must Have
- 10+ years of experience in Risk & Compliance, preferably in the financial sector
- Proven track record in setting up and leading teams
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks and compliance within pensions and insurance
- Strong stakeholder management skills and high-level network development
- Proactive mindset with strategic thinking and a solutions-oriented approach
Nice to have
- Experience in C-level communication and advisory
- Background in change management and business transformation
- A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to navigate regulatory changes and anticipate industry shifts
