Our client, a leading consultancy in the financial sector, is looking for an AML/CFT Senior Consultant to help clients mitigate risks and ensure compliance with evolving regulations
Your role
As an AML/CFT Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting insurance companies in designing, implementing, and enhancing their compliance frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address AML/CFT risks, sanctions compliance, and internal control effectiveness
Responsibilities

Develop and implement AML/CFT compliance frameworks to ensure regulatory adherence and risk mitigation.
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments for AML/CFT and sanctions compliance
- Execute Know Your Customer (KYC) remediation and transaction monitoring (KYT) activities
- Provide training and awareness sessions to enhance compliance knowledge across stakeholders
- Stay ahead of evolving AML/CFT regulations and market trends to advise clients proactively
Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, business analysis, or project management roles within AML/CFT

Strong understanding of AML/CFT legal frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Fluent in English and Dutch/French
- Analytical, proactive, and results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Nice to have
- Experience in financial crime risk assessments
- Familiarity with AML/CFT technology solutions for sanctions screening and monitoring
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory compliance frameworks
- Background in data-driven compliance models and automated reporting tools
